Afghan Child Education and Care Organization

AFCECO aims to provide better support to the next generation of Afghan citizens who have been devastated by three decades of war. AFCECO currently operates 11 orphanages in Afghanistan and Pakistan, caring for 600 orphans. COH has partnered with AFCECO to provide educational needs for approximately 70 children.

Haitian American Islamic Community

HAICI works to provide assistance throughout Haiti by offering humanitarian services such as education, health care, food and shelter. The organization also caters to casualties of political, social and economic turmoil as well as natural disasters. COH has partnered with HAICI as well as other local organizations to build a primary school in Cap Haitian, Haiti.

IDRF continues to work with COH in providing 50 orphans in Guyana with education and support and working to create interest in education through nutritional support in Bangladesh.

Ilm-o-Amal is a network of volunteers in Pakistan who develop and manage programs to help poor families escape poverty. Ilm-o-Amal and COH continue to collaborate to provide education to orphan children in Pakistan.

READ (Rural Education and Development) Foundation has been implementing educational and welfare projects in the developing world since 1994. COH is currently working with the READ foundation to address educational needs of flood affected children through the sponsorship of two schools in Charasada district in Pakistan.

One of the world’s largest charity for orphaned and abandoned children. SOS is operating in more than 130 countries which has an established track record of 60 years of caring for the world’s most vulnerable children. COH has partnered with SOS Children’s Villages to support a number of these initiatives.

Zakat Foundation of India

Zakat Foundation of India was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization that collects and utilizes ‘zakat’ or charity for socially beneficial projects in a transparent and organized manner. Zakat Foundation of India has many international partnerships with organizations across the world including COH where we work together to support 35 boys and 32 girls affected by communal riots in 2002.
